What the service stores

Your account email, optional name, role descriptions, practice answers, AI feedback, stories, saved answers, and subscription status are stored to provide your workspace. The application uses a SQLite database on the API host. Hosting administrators must configure persistent storage and backups.

What goes to the AI provider

Role details and interview answers are sent to Anthropic to generate questions, feedback, and improved answers. Your reviewed CV text may be included in questions and improvements. Up to five recent stories may also be included when improving an answer. Avoid sharing sensitive or confidential information. Review AI suggestions for accuracy before using them.

Email and payments

Resend processes your email address to deliver sign-in links. Stripe processes subscription payments and billing details. We do not store card numbers. Billing management takes place in Stripe’s portal.

CV imports

PDF, DOCX, and text files are parsed on the API host. Original files are temporary and discarded after extraction. Only text you review and explicitly save becomes part of your profile. You can remove that saved text from the CV import panel.

Browser storage and dictation

A secure HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in. Unsubmitted practice drafts are stored in session storage in the current browser tab and cleared on sign-out. If you choose browser dictation, your browser’s speech recognition service may process microphone audio according to its own settings and policies. The application does not upload audio recordings.

Analytics and logs

This version does not load a third-party analytics SDK. Hosting infrastructure may collect operational logs. We avoid putting answer text and sign-in tokens into application logs.

Access, correction, and deletion

You can change your name, remove stories and saved answers, and export loaded saved answers from your workspace. For a full export, email correction, or account deletion, email founder@yougothired.ai from the account address. We’ll confirm the request and explain the next steps.
