Account data: Email address provided at sign-in.

Content you provide: Resumes (PDF files), job descriptions, interview answers, and experiences you create.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and timestamps. Collected via server logs and optional analytics.

Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve the Service (AI scoring, question generation, answer rewriting)
  • Send transactional emails (magic links, subscription updates)
  • Process payments through Stripe
  • Monitor and prevent abuse

3. AI Processing

Your resumes, answers, and job descriptions are sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) to generate questions, scores, and rewrites. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (US). Resume files are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Stripe: payment processing
  • Resend: transactional email delivery
  • Anthropic / OpenAI: AI inference
  • Cloudflare R2: file storage
  • Sentry: error monitoring (optional)

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Deleted data is purged within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below.

8. Cookies

We use a single httpOnly authentication cookie (access_token) for session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
